Halloween Night!

Time to carve those massive pumpkins we picked out over a month ago!  The boys are always fascinated with the insides of the pumpkins - it is so gooey and there are seeds!

The kids really wanted a "batman" pumpkin this year....so we one faced pumpkin and then another pumpkin with the batman symbol.

Grandma Gray was nice enough to stay and hand out candy to the kids that came trick-or-treating at our house while the rest of us walked around the neighborhood for our own trick-or-treating.  We walked around with our neighbors Lily and Kai.  It is funny to watch the kids go crazy and run house to house (sometimes taking short cuts like Logan in the picture below).  The kids lasted for almost an hour and then they decided they were thirsty and tired and wanted to go home.  We got about 75% of our neighborhood done at that point.

Then it was time to check out the candy haul!  The kids were excited with everything....it was all sugar!

Happy Halloween 2013!

Challenger Halloween Sing

Zach's kindergarten class at Challenger did a quick "Halloween Sing" show.  Grandma and Grandpa Gray made it to town in time to see it!  Dustin dressed up as Fix-it Felix for work....it was PERFECT!

Zach walking in with his classmates...

The whole kindergarten class.  Some of these kids has really creative costumes!

Zach cheesing it up!

We love how confident Zach has been getting with his singing and presentation skills.  Challenger does these kinds of programs three times a school year.

Trunk-or-Treat

This afternoon we had our neighborhood Trunk-or-Treat!  Basically everyone trick or treats in the church parking lot.  Jen decided to try and decorate the back of the Durango.....

Both Dustin and Zach were Spiderman and Logan was the Hulk....

There was a pretty good turn out, about 1/3 of the parking lot was full.

The kids were satisfied with their candy haul....I think half of it was eaten by the time we made it home!
