HAH! Check out this picture!!!

Jen bought Zachary some sunglasses (as we are hoping spring is almost here - yes it is snowing as this blog is being typed). He loves them - he even smiled for this shot! I have to say we have a styling baby...and somehow I think he knows it!

I thought we were done with all this!

Okay - we have had our fair share of snow this winter. It hasn't snowed for about two weeks and has been absolutely gorgeous - in the upper 50's. Yesterday I was laughing because I saw SO MANY PEOPLE wearing shorts and sandals and it was 55 degrees. Well last night it was pretty windy and this morning we woke up to find it starting to SNOW!!!! It looks like someone sprinkled powdered sugar on everything. I know it won't last and will probably be gone in a matter of hours....but it is probably time for people to put the sandals away for a few more weeks!

Happy Easter!

Today was a very layed back Easter for us! All three of us never changed out of our PJ's today. Dustin's parents come to town late Friday night and stayed until Sunday morning. We all had breakfast and Zachary slept until 9am! Normally he is up between 7-8am for the day. It worked out perfect because we were able to finish breakfast and then he woke up in time to check out his easter basket with Grandma and Grandpa Gray before they hit the road to drive back to Colorado. We spent the rest of the afternoon organizing the office - something Dustin has been DYING to do for a while. We have two bookshelves that were at the end of our stairs that we moved into the office, so of course we had to go through all the books and stuff to figure out what we could get rid of. Then on to the boxes in the office closet that were never unpacked when we moved into our house 15 months ago.....we hung all of Dustin's masks and our dipolmas. I have to say the office looks pretty sweet now! Our wish list is to have that room wainscotted as well and some different kind of paint color put on the walls (Jen wants a deep blue) - but this project is way down on our list so it probably won't happen for a while!

Utah - the greatest powder on earth!

Dustin headed to Daniel's Summit Lodge area in Fruitland Utah (just outside Heber City - about 30 minutes from our house) for a action packed day of snowmobiling! A group from work - Scott, Cliff, Steve, and Corey (Steve's wife). We have had warm weather the past few days and luckily we got a storm last night that brought 8 inches of new powder for the boys to play in.

Two foot, twelve pounder...

Jen keeps saying that Zachary is a two foot twelve pounder. Today we had his 2 month check up and here are the stats:

• 23.5 inches long (just shy of two feet) - 75th percentile
• 12lbs 9oz (they took his weight with diaper on) - 75th percentile
• head is 40.75cm - 50th percentile

So all in all he is a two foot twelve pounder! Zach also got his shots - all FIVE OF THEM! Poor kid. He fell immediately asleep after his initial cry from the pokes. Looks like Tylenol is going to be our friend for the next day or so.

Happy St. Patricks Day

Zachary was styling today in honor of St. Patricks day...it was a special day because he is TWO MONTHS OLD! He looked so cute in his "Daddy's lucky charm" onesie. He actually spit up on it about 11am - but Jen didn't have the heart to take it off until Dustin came home from work to see his "lucky charm"....luckily formula and white shirts are about the same color!

Lederhosen

Isn't this the cutest thing?! Our friends Jeff and Kristin went to the swiss alps to do some skiing recently and they brought back this cute german bear for Zachary all decked out in lederhosen! We LOVE the outfit! Thanks Krotosky's!

Who knew?

Okay it just hit me today that we haven't received Zachary's birth certificate. It has been 8 weeks since his birth. The paperwork for his birth certificate and social security card were filled out at the hospital during our stay. His social security card arrived about a month ago - but no birth certificate yet! So I made some phone calls this morning and apparently when you have a kid and fill out the paperwork to create a birth certificate it doesn't mean they will send you a birth certificate. You actually have to request a copy of your birth certificate and pay for it. Go figure. I thought people ususally were given the actual birth certificate when they left the hospital with the baby! So needless to stay - $23 later (for two copies) we should get a copy of Zachary's birth certificate in 7-10 business days.

All about Zachary

So Dustin had fun shopping for cute onesies for Zachary before Christmas. He has been "waiting" for him to "fit" into them. Well of course this was the onesie Dustin picked out for Zachary to wear on Saturday - we were headed to the "Home and Garden" show all day.

We also got great use out of our Bjorn at the show!

New addiction....

Okay I have to admit this.....(it is Jen typing)....seeing how I am on maternity leave from work currently - people keep asking me if I am caught up on all the soaps on TV. Well, I have never been into soaps so I tell them "no"...what I don't tell them is I am addicted to the "The Price is Right". When I was a kid I would always watch this show on my summer breaks. I completely forgot about it until a few weeks ago when I was channel surfing and ran across it again (Drew Carey is the host now). I told Dustin when my maternity leave was up I was going to DVR the show so I could keep watching it....he just rolled his eyes and started laughing!
