Road Trip - Day #1

We were scheduled to head out of town this afternoon - first stop was Idaho Falls!  We left work at lunch time, picked up the kids from daycare, and finished our last minute packing.  We were all set to leave and guess what decided to fly into our garage and NOT leave....

Yes - a hummingbird.  We tried for over 30 minutes to get this little guy to fly out of our garage.  It was 95 degrees in their!  We ended up leaving and had our neighbors try and get him out too.  Apparently he didn't make it - just a couple of hours in the heat of our garage was enough to take his life.

A few short hours later we were in Idaho!  Here is the proof!
