4th of July 2012

Every 4th of July we host a big party with LOTS of fireworks for friends and family in the area.    Dustin's dad, and brother Eric were able to drive out from Colorado and stay for a few days.  Since the party last year got to be so massive, we decided to keep the entire party outside.  We also decided to  invite all the neighbors on our street and make it potluck style.  It turned out even better than we thought!  We shut down the street - which was perfect because the kids could play and we didn't have to worry about it!

We had a great turn out from the family side and the neighbor side. Everyone enjoyed the company!

We also LOVED all the FOOD!  Everyone brought their own meats to either grill or smoke and a side to share with everyone....YUMMY!

We had  TON of ariel fireworks to shoot off.  Boys of all sizes were having fun setting them off and lighting them on fire.

We had quite a mess on the street when we were done.....but it was so worth it!

At 10pm the city of Lehi does a fireworks show from Thanksgiving Point.  We can see it perfectly from the front of our house.  After those fireworks we had a great view of the fire still burning on the mountains in Alpine.
