Fat & Happy

Oh - the guilty pleasures of life! We decided to have a "fat & happy" night....with some homemade mac-n-cheese! This wonderful recipe (compliments of Susan P.) is to DIE FOR! Jen made a double batch of this marvelous artery clogging dish - so we have left overs for the entire week! I don't think we will be going back to Kraft anytime soon! Yummy yummy yum!

I don't like mac 'n cheese too much, but this looks kind of tasty. It's hard to picture anything besides Kraft macky cheese because that's what we had when I was a kid, more than enough. Real cheese instead of powered dyed yellowish orange cheese would most like make all the difference in the world.

Mmm... I think that I will need the recipe for this one. Peyton and I both like Mac and cheese and I hate to admit it, but I actually love the Kraft kind. Maybe it is time to upgrade to this yummy looking stuff!

I don't mind sharing the recipe - Jen, feel free to post it! It's been my favorite my whole life! My kids love "Gradma's Mac n Cheese" the best. She makes it every year with Christmas dinner (prime rib - only the good stuff!)
mmmm I might just have to make some this week!

P.S. - not sure if you figured this out - but the best way to "reheat" it is to add a little milk and either pop it in the microwave or in a pot on the stove and then stir it a lot. The extra little bit of milk brings back the creamy texture as the first night.

Oooh that does look delish. I should probably stay away from that dish until the baby weight is ancient history :)
