Hawaii Trip Day #5 - Mother's Day Poolside

Mother's Day in Hawaii.....how much better can it get? How about some beautiful Hawaiian flowers? Dustin snuck off yesterday and bought Jen and her mom some flowers! We didn't have a vase at the hotel, but a plastic pitcher worked just fine.

The men asked the ladies what they wanted to do on Mother's day and we decided to just chill and hang out at the pool at the hotel. We wanted to relax and soak in the beautiful day. The kids were on there best behavior....see Logan's morning smile?

Don't let that smile fool you. Once down at the pool he scopes out all the ladies flip flops laying around. First it was some pink ones.....

Then some black ones....

After we hid all the flip flops in sight, he finally settled on playing with the pebble beach. Zach on the other hand was all about the pool. He checked it all out (again)....dragging everyone with him. Grandma and Grandpa Twogood didn't seem to mind.

There of course was some more waterside fun...

We relaxed at the restaurant at the pool for a late lunch. The kids got some free snow cones and had fun trying to eat them.

Shortly after our lunch the kids wanted to go back in the pool for a bit, but didn't last longer than 15 minutes and we ended up looking like this for a bit...

This is just what the ladies wanted, a relaxing day with no agenda. Maybe every Mother's Day should be spent in Hawaii!
